Message from the Executive Director

2011 has been a growing and productive year for the Mattingly Center. We have increased the number of participants we serve and continue to offer excellent day services to participants from the time they get up in the morning to the time they go to bed at night. Our staff is the best ever. They are very dedicated to our mission and vision.

Our building has received a much needed face lift in the main kitchen. Thanks to all who donate money, time and talents to making this dream kitchen become a reality. Please stop by any time and view the changes. We prepare around forty-five lunches each day and the new surroundings are great.

Medicaid, our largest funder, is in the process of rewriting two of the waivers we provide services through. This rewrite will bring additional services for our participants. The waiver will be more person-centered and will be much more flexible. All of the staff will work hard to enhance our programs and incorporate the new waiver regulations.

Our fundraisers have been well attended this year. We have had a record year in generated income. In addition to our Medicaid funding we need $110,000 to operate the Mattingly Center. We have been very blessed with many volunteers who have spent endless hours working on our events. Many thanks for your time, talent and treasures.

God bless you and your families,

Barbara Henchey
