Mattingly Center Store

Come see what the Mattingly Center Store has to offer.

The Mattingly Center Store is open from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The store is located right off of the Mattingly Center's Main Hall and is run by the participants themselves. There are severel different store departments and each department has its own specific responsibility.

The store departments are:

  • The Coordination of Services Department
  • The Planning, Development & Advertising Department
  • The Purchasing Department
  • The Inventory, Stocking & Pricing Department
  • The Store Upkeep Department
  • The Art Design & Production Department, which also including the Cookbook Creations Department
  • The Food Producation & Sales Department, which also includes the Bakery Food Sales Department, the Lunch Specials & Foods Sales Department and the Sandwiches-To-Go Food Sales Department

What can you buy at the Mattingly Center Store?

There are snack items and frozen food items as well as breakfast and lunch items. There are homemade arts and crafts, jewelry and all-occasion cards - all created by our own Art Design & Production Department - for sale. At holiday times there are special gift bags as well. There are also weekly lunch and dessert specials in addition to homemade bakery items to buy.

This store gives our participants a true sense of responsibility. It gives them the opportunity to learn vocational skills as well as money skills. The store has its own back account and all money made through sales is the direct result of the participants' hard work. The participants determine how all money is spent, recent purchase include a mini-refrigerator.
