A message from our Director of Development
In 2002 the Mattingly Center, Inc. Board of Directors and staff
stretched their resources through expansion of our current facility
in order to serve a greater number of adults with severe
disabilities. Since this decision the Mattingly Center, Inc. has
been extremely successful in continuing to enhance lives through
the provision of quality services and supports to this often
underserved part of our community. With great growth the Mattingly
Center, Inc. has also taken on greater expenses which initiated the
creation of the Cerebral Palsy School of Louisville Foundation,
whose sole mission is to support the operation of the Mattingly
Center, Inc.
Thanks to the support of many of you we have been able to
sustain this growth, but like all organizations each year comes
with new financial challenges. The Cerebral Palsy School of
Louisville Foundation has stepped up to be a community leader in
support of the mission and vision of the Mattingly Center, Inc. As
we are now starting a new fiscal year effective July 1, 2007 I
sincerely hope that each of you will renew your commitment to the
vital needs that the Cerebral Palsy School of Louisville Foundation
addresses.
If you have not had the opportunity to visit I would deeply urge
you to stop in and see how lives have been changed through your
donation or support of an agency event. If you would like to become
a supporter of our Foundation and would like to discuss how, I
would be delighted to speak with you. Feel free to call at
502-451-6200 ext. 205 or send an e-mail to sjohnson@mattinglycenter.org
Thank you,
Sonia Johnson, Director of Development
